Jan van Wyk, Managing Director
Jan began his career with the South African Air force during 1983, and
reached the rank of Captain in 1994 at Air Force Base Waterkloof. Whilst
managing the Catering facilities at Air force Base Waterkloof he had as
his responsibilities the day to day management of catering facilities
for 1600 people, accommodation facilities for 1050 people with a personnel
of 134 people, and honed his skills in personnel and financial management.
He then left the South African Air force to pursue a career in business.
He was a co-founder of SCAN RF Projects (Pty) Ltd (1999) and has completed
various microwave training programs.
Schalk Burger, Director (Sales/Technical Director)
Schalk started his wireless/microwave technology career with Voice &
Data Technologies in 1997 and has twelve years experience as a microwave
installation/project manager. He has managed the Anglo American Platinum
microwave network for the past five years. He has extensive experience
in microwave installation and commissioning. Schalk was also one of the
founding members of Scan RF Projects (Pty) Ltd and has completed various
microwave training programs. He has also managed various WBA network projects
in Uganda and Cameroon.
Jean Schröder, Director (Sales/Technical Director)
Jean joined Voice & Data Technologies in 1998 as a technical manager
and was responsible for the role-out of an extensive wireless ISP network
throughout Johannesburg. He has twelve years experience in wireless and
microwave installation and commissioning. He has done various microwave
training courses and has managed microwave installation projects in Botswana
for BTC and BTA. He has also managed various WBA network projects in Uganda,
Cameroon, Zambia and Mozambique. Jean was also a founding member of Scan
RF Projects (Pty) Ltd.
Reyno Eksteen (Operations Manager)
Reyno joined Scan RF Projects in 2002. Reyno started his microwave / wireless
career in 1999 and was part of the installation team for the role out
of an extensive microwave network in the Royal Bafokeng area. He has been
involved in Tellumat and Plessey microwave installations for a major Cellular
operator. He has four years experience in wireless and microwave installation
and commissioning. He has done various microwave training courses. Reyno
has been involved in installation projects in Botswana for BTC and BTA,
Nigeria and Mozambique.
