- SCAN RF offers a GSM/GPRS/EDGE modem, which in a compact and practical design
delivers high-speed mobile wireless Internet connection.
- The SIM card reader and antenna are integrated in the modem. It is connected
to a computer through a USB or serial RS232 interface, which also supplies
power, so there is no need for additional PS's nor does it require any batteries.
- It works under Windows 98, 2000, XP, Linux and MacOS operating systems.
- The modem supports EDGE technology, which delivers high-speed wireless Internet
connection up to 178 kilobit/s.
- The modem supports 900/1800 networks, so it can be used worldwide. The installation
is very simple. The modem is ready to use after inserting the SIM card and
installing drivers.
- The package includes the modem, USB cable, user manual and installation
CD with drivers and software.
